Israel Air and Space Force Hermes 900 Shot down

An Israeli Elbit Hermes 900, serial number 923 and carrying missiles, was brought down by the IRGC on 3 March 2026 with only minimal damage and was subsequently examined by Iranian engineers. The near-intact recovery of an armed Israeli platform was a notable intelligence gain for Tehran, giving access to the sensor and weapons fit of a system central to Israeli operations over Iran. The location of the recovery was not disclosed.
