Description
On the night of 25–26 April, fighters of Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) Alpha Special Operations Centre carried out a coordinated drone strike on the Belbek military airfield in Russian-occupied Crimea, destroying a MiG-31 interceptor — most likely a MiG-31BM variant — along with the airfield's technical operations section. The same overnight operation also struck three Russian Navy vessels (the large landing ships Yamal and Filchenkov, and the reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs) at the Black Sea Fleet's Sevastopol base. The attack was part of a sustained campaign of Ukrainian long-range strikes against Russian aviation, naval, intelligence and air-defence assets in occupied Crimea.
