Description
The Royal Thai Air Force ordered two Airbus C295 tactical transport aircraft, Airbus announced on 22 May 2026. The aircraft will be assembled in Seville and operated by the 46th Wing from Phitsanulok air base, with the first delivery scheduled for the first half of 2029. They will be the air force's first C295s; the Royal Thai Army has flown three of the type on cargo and troop transport missions since 2016, and the Royal Thai Navy ordered two more days later.
