Indonesian Air Force Rafale Delivered

Three further Dassault Rafale fighters were formally handed over to the Indonesian Air Force at a ceremony at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta, presided over by the President of Indonesia. The delivery brought the in-country Rafale total to six of the 42 aircraft ordered. The same event marked the induction of an A400M transport and Falcon 8X jets, alongside Meteor beyond-visual-range missiles for the Rafale fleet. The aircraft are being concentrated at Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base in Pekanbaru, where Indonesia is standing up its first Rafale squadron ahead of an initial operational capability declaration.
