Mali Air Force Bayraktar Akıncı Delivered

Mali's armed forces received a new batch of Bayraktar Akıncı combat drones at Sévaré air base on 30 July 2026, Military Africa reported citing an official statement on state defence channels. The deputy defence minister transferred the aircraft to the armed forces chief of staff at a ceremony in the Mopti region, after which the head of the Air Force took formal custody. Flight data indicated that a Turkish Air Force A400M had flown from Kayseri via Casablanca to Sévaré on 1–2 July, consistent with an equipment transfer. The number of aircraft was not disclosed. It was Mali's third Akıncı delivery after November 2024 and January 2026.
