Description

On 14 July 2026, a Royal Moroccan Air Force CAP 232 aerobatic aircraft crashed during a local training flight out of Marrakech. The single-seat aircraft, operated by the Marche Verte national aerobatic display team, suffered a reported mechanical failure and made a forced landing in a field in Al Haouz Province. The airframe sustained substantial damage, with the left wing and canopy separating from the fuselage on impact. The pilot, the sole occupant, was injured and evacuated for medical treatment. Royal Gendarmerie and civil protection units secured the site, and an investigation was opened into the accident.
