Mexican Air Force C-130J-30 Ordered

Lockheed Martin announced on 23 September 2026 that the Mexican Air Force had acquired a second C-130J-30 Super Hercules tactical airlifter. The first was announced in January 2026 and made Mexico the first Latin American operator of the type. According to Lockheed Martin, that first aircraft flew emergency supplies, medical aid and personnel to Venezuela after the twin earthquakes there, and the second airframe will double that humanitarian and regional airlift capacity. The Super Hercules joins an older C-130 fleet in Mexican service. Neither Lockheed Martin nor the Mexican authorities published a delivery date or a contract value.
