Description
A Pakistan Army Aviation PAC MFI-17 Mushshak two-seat trainer crashed on 12 October 2026 near the town of Nawan Killi, on the outskirts of Quetta in Balochistan province. Both pilots on board were killed, the military's media wing said in a statement reported by the Associated Press and Arab News. The military attributed the crash to a technical fault and released no further details. The Mushshak is the Pakistani licence-built development of the Saab MFI-17 Supporter, used by the Army and the Air Force for primary flying training. It is the second fatal Mushshak-family accident in Pakistan this year, after a Pakistan Air Force MFI-395 Super Mushshak crashed near Mardan in June.
