Israel Air and Space Force AH-64 Apache Ordered

Israel signed an agreement with the US Department of Defense on 14 October 2026 to buy 12 Boeing AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for the Israeli Air Force, the Israeli Defence Ministry announced, after the government approved close to NIS 1 billion in funding that morning, according to The Times of Israel. The ministry described the Echo as the newest and most advanced Apache model and said deliveries would begin at the start of the 2030s, without disclosing a price or an exact year, Defence Industry Europe reported. The US government had cleared a possible sale of up to 30 AH-64Es to Israel in January 2026.
