Description
Uprun is an airbase of the Russian Aerospace Forces located 20 miles north of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. The air base is owned by the Ministry of Defence and operated by the Russian Aerospace Forces, under the control of the 14th Air and Air Defence Forces Army. It is currently home to the Aviation Group, 17th Guards Brigade of Army Aviation, which is part of the 17th Guards Army Aviation Brigade. Historically, the base was also used by the 607th Training Aviation Regiment between 1982 and 1998.
