Description
Captured by Russian forces at Berdyansk on 26 February 2022 alongside sister ship Akkerman. Vyshhorod was the seventh Gyurza-M-class armoured artillery boat, commissioned in 2020. Like Akkerman, the gunboat was subsequently pressed into Russian service for port security operations. The loss of two Gyurza-M boats at Berdyansk, combined with two more captured at Mariupol, left Ukraine with only four operational boats of the class.
