Thailand Navy HTMS Pin Klao Retired

The frigate HTMS Pin Klao (DE-413) was decommissioned with effect from 1 October 2025, one of four ships retired by order of the Thai Ministry of Defence because repairs had become too costly to justify, Thai PBS World reported. Built for the U.S. Navy in the Second World War as the Cannon-class destroyer escort USS Hemminger, she was transferred to Thailand in 1959 and served for 66 years. She was the last ship of the class still in service.
