Description
The former US Coast Guard cutter Decisive was handed over to the Sri Lanka Navy on 2 December 2025 at the Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, Maryland, formally joining the fleet under pennant number P 628, Naval News reported. The B-type Reliance-class 210-foot cutter is 64 metres long, has an endurance of 6,000 nautical miles and accommodates about 100 crew. She is the fourth Reliance-class vessel transferred from the US Coast Guard to Sri Lanka, after Samudura (P 621), Gajabahu (P 626) and Vijayabahu (P 627), which the same report said were patrolling the island's waters.
