Description
Sunk in United States strikes on 28 February 2026 at her mooring at Konarak Naval Base, alongside her sister ship Bayandor. Satellite imagery captured on 1 March confirmed both corvettes down at their berths. Naghdi had recently returned to Konarak with the 103rd Naval Flotilla after participating in Exercise Will for Peace 2026 off Cape Town, South Africa. Commissioned in 1964 as the second Bayandor-class corvette, her loss alongside Bayandor ended the class after more than 60 years of service.
