Description
Fourth Shahid Soleimani-class corvette, sunk on 4 March 2026 during U.S. strikes as part of Operation Epic Fury. Commissioned on 27 February 2025, IRIS Shahid Raees Ali Delvari was the newest vessel in the class and had been in service for barely one year. The 67-metre catamaran-hulled corvette was armed with vertically launched Navvab missiles and Sayyad-3 surface-to-air missiles. Prior to commissioning, the vessel had deployed to Sharjah, UAE, as part of the IRGCN Peace Fleet.
