Description
Severely damaged alongside corvette Yeysk during the Ukrainian drone strike on Novorossiysk on the night of 2 March 2026. Kasimov is a Grisha-class (Project 1124M) anti-submarine warfare corvette assigned to the Black Sea Fleet. SBU sources confirmed both Grisha-class ships sustained serious damage in the attack. The strike killed three Russian sailors, wounded 14, and hit a total of five warships at the port alongside strikes on the Sheskharis oil terminal.
