Description
Struck and reported as the most severely damaged vessel during the Ukrainian drone strike on Novorossiysk on the night of 2 March 2026. Valentin Pikul is a Natya-class (Project 266M) sea minesweeper assigned to the Black Sea Fleet. The strike, involving approximately 200 aerial and maritime drones, hit five warships at the port. SBU sources described the minesweeper as having suffered the most significant damage among the vessels hit.
