Description
The Brazilian Navy incorporated the minehunter Amorim do Valle (M210) into its Mine Warfare and Sweeping Force on 17 March 2026, the Navy's news agency and Poder Naval reported. A former River-class ship long used as the hydrographic and oceanographic vessel H35, she began her conversion in September 2025 at the Salvador naval base, receiving a grey hull and a new pennant; new mine countermeasures equipment was to follow in a second phase. She joins the Aratu-class minesweepers in protecting Brazil's strategic ports.
