Description
Damaged on 25 April 2026 in the SBU "Alpha" drone strike on Sevastopol Naval Base, alongside the landing ships Yamal and Nikolai Filchenkov. The Ukrainian Navy spokesman stated the ship sustained damage to stern-mounted intelligence equipment; post-strike satellite imagery indicates the vessel will not be able to perform its mission for an extended period. Ivan Khurs is a Project 18280 Yury Ivanov-class signals intelligence ship commissioned in 2018, the second of its class. The 4,000-tonne vessel is configured for ELINT/SIGINT collection in support of the Black Sea Fleet.
