United States Navy USNS Sojourner Truth Delivered

The US Navy accepted delivery of USNS Sojourner Truth (T-AO 210) from General Dynamics NASSCO in San Diego on June 9, 2026, following completion of integrated sea trials. The ship is the sixth unit of the John Lewis-class fleet replenishment oiler program, designed to transfer fuel, dry cargo and provisions to Navy ships operating at sea. Operated by Military Sealift Command with a primarily civilian crew, the class features substantial liquid cargo volume, significant dry cargo capacity and aviation capability, forming the backbone of the future combat logistics force.
