Designed and built by Hindustan Shipyard Limited with roughly 75 percent indigenous content, the 9,350-tonne, 118-metre vessel carries saturation diving systems, a side diving stage and remotely operated vehicles, and acts as mother ship for the deep submergence rescue vehicle used to evacuate submarine crews.
