- Ground Forces (Сухапутныя войскі): Conducts land operations, including mechanized warfare, armored maneuvers, and artillery support. Following the abolition of the Ground Forces Main Staff, all ground maneuver units are directly subordinated to the General Staff via the Western and North-Western Operational Commands. Subordinate elements primarily comprise mechanized infantry and artillery brigades.
- Air Force and Air Defence Forces (Ваенна-паветраныя сілы і войскі супрацьпаветранай абароны): Executes aerial operations, manages airspace defense, and operates ground-based air defense systems. Flight inventory includes tactical fighter aircraft, transport helicopters, and surface-to-air missile units. This branch integrates operationally with the unified regional air defense network of the Russian Federation.
- Special Operations Forces (Сілы спецыяльных аперацый): Functions as an independent, high-readiness branch specializing in reconnaissance, direct action, and airborne operations. Subordinate units include the 38th Separate Guards Air Assault Brigade, the 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade, and the 5th Spetsnaz Brigade. Personnel undergo specialized training for counter-sabotage and rapid-deployment scenarios.
- Transport Troops (Транспартныя войскі): Manages military logistics, supply lines, and the movement of personnel and material by rail, road, and air. Responsibilities include the technical cover, repair, and construction of transport infrastructure, such as railways and bridges. Units are organized into railway and road-bridge brigades under the direct control of the Department of Transport Support.
- Territorial Defense Forces (Тэрытарыяльныя войскі): Serves as an auxiliary reserve branch activated during wartime or periods of heightened political-military tension. Tasks involve protecting critical regional infrastructure, combatting hostile sabotage groups, and supporting martial law. The branch is organized locally under the administrative control of regional and district executive committees.
