Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force F-7 Crash

An Iranian Air Force F-7 jet crashed at the Anarak training site, about 200 km east of Isfahan, on the morning of 24 May 2022, killing both pilots. Al Jazeera reported that a local official said the jet faced technical issues during the training operation, and IRNA quoted the deputy governor of Isfahan as saying the mission was training and that experts were investigating. Aviation Safety Network records the airframe as a two-seat Chengdu FT-7N.
