Description
An Indian Navy MiG-29K fighter crashed into the sea off Goa on 12 October 2022 while returning to base from a routine sortie, according to ETV Bharat. The Navy said the aircraft developed a technical malfunction and the pilot ejected safely. The pilot was recovered in a search-and-rescue operation and was described as stable. Naval headquarters ordered a Board of Inquiry to determine the cause of the crash.
