German Air Force A350 ACJ Delivered

The German Air Force took delivery of an Airbus A350-900 at Cologne-Wahn after completion of its government transport interior, the aircraft joining the service's long-range fleet as its third A350 airframe. The cabin conversion, carried out in Germany, fitted a secure communications suite, conference and working areas and a medical station. The A350s replace the Airbus A340s previously used for government flights, which had become unreliable and were withdrawn, and give the fleet the range to reach Asia and the Pacific without an intermediate stop. The aircraft are flown by the air force's special air mission wing.
