United States Army S-70/EH/HH/MH/UH-60 Crash

A United States Army MH-60 Black Hawk assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment went into the Mediterranean Sea during aerial refueling training after an in-flight emergency. The Department of Defense said all five crew members aboard were killed and reported no indication of hostile action, while European Command announced the loss as search and recovery operations continued. The MH-60 is the special operations variant of the Black Hawk, fitted with an aerial refueling probe, additional fuel and precision navigation equipment for long-range infiltration missions flown at night and at low level.
