Description
An Algerian Air Force Mi-171 crashed near El Menia Airport at about 21:00 during scheduled night training. Algeria’s Defence Ministry said all three crew members were killed, identified the aircraft as a combat helicopter under Air Forces Command, and ordered an investigation into the circumstances and cause. The helicopter was destroyed in the accident.
