United States Army AH-64D/E Crash

An AH-64 Apache of the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, crashed at Fort Carson, Colorado, during a training flight, according to The War Zone. The co-pilot/gunner was treated for minor injuries and released. The variant was not specified. The crash came three days after an AH-64E of the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade went down at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and was the fourth Army Apache mishap in two months, a series that led the Army to review its aviation safety practices. The accident was placed under investigation.
