Description
Poland received the first of two Saab 340 airborne early-warning aircraft acquired from Sweden. The aircraft arrived at Gdynia after refurbishment and transfer work. Equipped with the Erieye radar, the pair gives the Polish Air Force a dedicated airborne-surveillance capability. The second aircraft was scheduled to follow later.
