Israel Air and Space Force C-130J Damaged

A C-130 transport aircraft of the Israeli Air Force was damaged at Nevatim Airbase when five Iranian ballistic missiles struck the base during Iran's attack on Israel on the night of 13-14 April 2024, a senior US official told ABC News. The official said the missiles also hit an unused runway and empty storage facilities, and that four further missiles struck another air base in the Negev without significant damage. The nine missiles were among the few weapons to get through from an attack of more than 300 drones and missiles, of which about 99 percent were intercepted, according to Israel. The variant of the damaged Hercules was not stated.
