Description
A Peruvian Air Force Mirage 2000P disappeared during low-altitude navigation training after departing La Joya Air Base. Search teams found the wreckage on the western slope of Pichu Pichu volcano. The Air Force confirmed that the pilot was killed. Military authorities recovered the site and opened an inquiry into the cause.
