Description
An Ecuadorian Army Aviation Mi-171 crashed near Tiwino while transporting humanitarian aid for communities affected by flooding around Pakayaku. The Army said the three crew and five passengers aboard were killed. Search teams found the wreckage in difficult jungle terrain after contact was lost. Military authorities secured the site and opened an investigation.
