Description
Slovakia’s first two F-16 Block 70 fighters arrived at Malacky Air Base and began operations with the Slovak Air Force. They were the first Block 70 aircraft to operate in Europe and part of a 14-aircraft programme replacing Slovakia’s MiG-29 fleet. Five Slovak aircraft had been produced by that date, with the remaining nine in production.
