Description
On 24 July 2024 a Russian Air Force Mi-8 helicopter was destroyed by fire at Kryazh airfield in Samara, deep inside Russia. Ukraine's Defence Intelligence (HUR) said the helicopter was set alight by a saboteur and claimed that two further helicopters burned near Moscow the same night; Oryx documented only the Samara helicopter from the published video and lists it as destroyed.
