Description
The US Air Force finalized a $2.56 billion agreement with Boeing for two operationally representative E-7A Wedgetail rapid prototypes. The aircraft are intended to replace part of the aging E-3 airborne-warning fleet and were scheduled for delivery in fiscal 2028. The contract covers US-specific development as well as the two platforms.
