Hellenic Air Force Rafale DG/EG Delivered

The Hellenic Air Force received its 24th and last Rafale in January 2025, when the single-seat aircraft landed at Tanagra air base, home of 332 Squadron. The delivery completed a programme of 18 aircraft ordered in 2021, of which 12 were former French Air Force jets and six new-build, and six more new aircraft added under a March 2022 contract, for a combined value of about 2.5 billion euros. Greece plans to operate about 200 fourth-and-a-half and fifth-generation combat aircraft, comprising F-16 Vipers, F-35s and Rafales, by 2030.
