Russian Air Force Ka-52 Destroyed

Two Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopters were damaged by HIMARS barrages on a helicopter forward operating base in Ivnyansky District, Belgorod Oblast, alongside an Mi-8MTV-5 and an Mi-28N. Russian sources indicated that one of the two Ka-52s was repairable, so only one airframe is counted as lost. The strike was part of a Ukrainian campaign against Russian rotary-wing staging areas close to the border, which had been used to launch Ka-52 sorties with long-range Vikhr and LMUR missiles against Ukrainian positions.
