Philippine Air Force FA-50PH Crash

A Philippine Air Force FA-50PH light combat aircraft, serial 15-002, was lost on the night of 4 March 2025 during a counter-insurgency mission in Bukidnon province, Mindanao. The Air Force said the jet lost communication with the rest of its flight minutes before reaching the target area. Search teams located the wreckage in jungle on Mount Kalatungan, and a military spokesperson said both pilots had died, their remains found near the wreckage. No hostile fire was reported and the cause remained under investigation. The Air Force grounded its remaining FA-50PH fleet pending the findings.
