Description
On 26 May 2025 the last of the 24 F-16 fighters the Netherlands pledged to Ukraine left Volkel Air Base for Belgium, where they were prepared for hand-over, the Dutch Defence Ministry said, according to the Kyiv Independent. The Netherlands was the first donor to complete its F-16 commitment; its first aircraft had arrived in Ukraine in 2024 alongside Danish jets, according to Reuters.
