Islamic Republic of Iran Army AH-1J Destroyed

On 18 June 2025, during the Twelve-Day War, the Israeli military said its aircraft had bombed eight Iranian AH-1J attack helicopters at a military base in the Kermanshah area of western Iran. The IDF spokesman announced five helicopters struck in the morning, and the military later said another three had been bombed at the same base. According to the IDF, the helicopters were intended to target Israeli aircraft operating in Iranian airspace. The IDF released strike footage. The figures come from Israeli military statements and the published imagery; Iran has not given its own account of the losses at the base.
