Brazilian Air Force C/KC-390 Delivered

The Brazilian Air Force took delivery of its eighth KC-390 Millennium on 2 October 2025. The aircraft, registration FAB 2860, took off from Embraer's Gavião Peixoto plant at 11:40 and landed at Galeão Air Base in Rio de Janeiro at 12:48, joining the 1st Squadron of the 1st Transport Group, the Gordo squadron. Brazil originally ordered 28 KC-390s and later renegotiated the programme down to 19 aircraft, with deliveries slowed by budget constraints. The KC-390 is replacing the C-130 Hercules in transport, aerial refuelling and search-and-rescue roles.
