Lithuanian Air Force S-70/UH-60M Delivered

The first UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters were delivered to the Lithuanian Air Force, opening the replacement of its Soviet-era Mi-8 fleet. Lithuania ordered six aircraft through the US Foreign Military Sales system, and the type provides tactical transport, medical evacuation and special operations support with NATO-standard interoperability. The delivery matters disproportionately for a small air force that had depended on Russian-origin helicopters with no supportable spares chain, and it aligns Lithuanian rotary-wing capability with regional allies.
