Description
A Tecnam P2002 JF of the Hellenic Air Force crashed at Tatoi Airport north of Athens, injuring the two pilots on board. The Hellenic Air Force uses the Italian-built two-seat light aircraft at Tatoi for initial pilot selection and screening, a role in which its very low operating cost allows candidates to be assessed before they progress to the T-6A Texan II. The aircraft was substantially damaged in the accident.
