Israel Air and Space Force F-15IA Ordered

Israel signed a contract for a second batch of 25 F-15IA aircraft, doubling its commitment to the type and bringing the total on order to 50. The F-15IA is an Israeli-specific derivative of the F-15EX Eagle II, combining the new-build airframe and fly-by-wire flight controls with Israeli mission systems and weapons integration. The aircraft are intended to replace the oldest F-15A/C airframes in Israeli service while adding long-range strike capacity with heavy stand-off weapon loads. Deliveries are expected toward the end of the decade, with the type operating alongside the F-35I Adir fleet.
