United States Air Force MQ-9 Reaper Destroyed

An MQ-9 Reaper was destroyed on the ground at a US installation in Jordan by an Iranian missile, one of three previously undisclosed losses surfaced by a Bloomberg tally published on 19 March 2026. That tally put total Reaper losses at twelve since the start of the war, of which nine had been shot down by Iran, one destroyed on the ground in Jordan and two lost to accidents. Jordan hosted a significant share of US strike and reconnaissance assets supporting the campaign and came under repeated Iranian missile and drone attack.
