Description
Two Israeli IAI Eitan unmanned aircraft were shot down over Isfahan on 6 March 2026. Losing two of the type in a single engagement area was a significant blow given the small size of the Eitan fleet and its role as Israel's principal long-endurance surveillance platform. The same day cost Israel a Hermes 900 and two Herons, and the United States an MQ-9 Reaper, all to IRGC Aerospace Force air defences.
