Description
The Irish Air Corps' only Learjet 45, serial 258, made its final flight on 21 April 2026, ferrying from Casement Aerodrome to Shannon, Flying in Ireland reported. Its military markings were removed on 5 May and the aircraft was sold to a US parts company, ch-aviation reported. Delivered in December 2003, it flew presidential and ministerial transport, military transport and air ambulance missions with the Ministerial Air Transport Service, and was withdrawn because of declining reliability. A Dassault Falcon 6X, delivered in late 2025, replaces it.
