Slovak Air Force F-16V Delivered

The Slovak Armed Forces announced that the last of 14 F-16C/D Block 70 aircraft ordered under a 2018 contract had been handed over, completing the production run. The final airframes were delivered at Morris Air National Guard Base in Tucson, Arizona, where they remain in use for Slovak pilot conversion training. Ten of the fourteen were by then based at Kuchyna Air Base near Malacky, following the arrival of aircraft 1010, 1011 and 1012 in February after a December weather delay. Full redeployment of the fleet to Slovakia is expected by the end of 2027, and Bratislava has opened talks on four additional aircraft.
