Description
The Turkish Air Force placed its first order for the indigenous KAAN fighter, a batch of 20 Block 10 aircraft, with Turkish Aerospace at the SAHA 2026 exhibition in Istanbul on 6 May 2026, Breaking Defense reported. The chief executive of Turkish Aerospace described it as the first order and said numbers were expected to grow; no delivery schedule was disclosed. The contract follows Indonesia's order for 48 KAAN in June 2025.
