Royal Netherlands Air Force F-35A Delivered

F-35A AN-51 arrived at Leeuwarden Air Base in late May 2026, flown directly from Leonardo's final assembly line at Cameri in Italy, the Dutch Ministry of Defence's Materieelgezien magazine reported. With AN-51, the Italian line had delivered 44 F-35s to the Netherlands, the magazine said, and the next new aircraft from Cameri are expected from 2028. The first Dutch F-35 to arrive in the Netherlands, AN-09, landed at Leeuwarden on 31 October 2019.
